No matter your occupation, you can still be a messenger of the Gospel. That’s what one masters level nurse is doing in a remote region of Uganda. Pastor Barungi serves on the Uganda National Examining Board for nursing. GNU partner Moses Lukwago met her while she was conducting national exams for nurses near his town.
Moses introduced himself and shared the book Jesus Only with her. Pr Barungi says:
It (the book Jesus Only) has never left my bag. I have read it over and over and it has helped me understand righteousness. It explains faith very well.
Wanting to share her love of the Gospel with others, she started a church in Mubende, in the remote region of Karokarungi, Uganda. Located in the western part of the country, it was a long trek for Moses when she invited him to come and speak to her church. Moses went to the church in order to share the Gospel message, which also included references to the book Jesus Only. Pr Barungi says:
I would love my church members to have the book Jesus Only as well. I believe it will help this congregation realize salvation by faith and to live with purpose.
Moses says that most of the congregation do not have much because they are refugees. He plans to continue meeting with them as much as possible so that they can maintain their knowledge of the Bible.

To God be the glory, great things He has done. May God Almighty continue to bless and keep the church from all harm and danger. The nurse is doing a great work for the Lord.
